Add one record where your domain lives
Log in to the company you bought the domain from (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Squarespace, Porkbun, Exabytes, Vodien…) and open the DNS settings for your domain. Add:

If a TTL is asked for, any value is fine. If your provider refuses a CNAME on @ (the bare domain), just add the www one and use the provider's domain forwarding to send mybusiness.com to https://www.mybusiness.com.

GoDaddy
My Products → your domain → DNS → Add New Record. Type CNAME, Name www, Value wagentapp.com. GoDaddy doesn't allow CNAME on @ — use Domain Forwarding (same DNS page, bottom) to https://www.yourdomain.com.
Namecheap
Domain List → Manage → Advanced DNS → Add New Record. Add a CNAME with Host www → wagentapp.com, and an ALIAS record with Host @ → wagentapp.com.
Cloudflare (domain bought there, or DNS moved there)
Select the domain → DNS → Add record. CNAME www → wagentapp.com and CNAME @ → wagentapp.com. Important: click the orange cloud so it turns grey (DNS only) on both records — with the orange cloud on, the connection won't work.
Squarespace Domains (formerly Google Domains)
Domains → your domain → DNS Settings → Custom Records. Add CNAME www → wagentapp.com. For the bare domain use their forwarding rule to https://www.yourdomain.com.
Porkbun
Domain Management → Details → DNS Records. Add CNAME www → wagentapp.com and ALIAS @ → wagentapp.com (delete Porkbun's default parking ALIAS/CNAME on @ and www if present — those two placeholders are the one exception to "never delete").
Somewhere else / not sure
Search your provider's help for “add CNAME record”, or just tell Alice which company it is — she'll walk you through their screens step by step. If your provider supports neither CNAME nor ALIAS on the bare domain, the free fallback is moving your DNS to a free Cloudflare account; Alice can guide that too.
Common questions
Does this cost anything?
No. Connecting a domain you own is included, and the secure certificate (https) is automatic and free. You keep paying your registrar for the domain itself, as you always have.
Who owns the domain?
You do — nothing about ownership changes. You're only pointing it at your website, and you can point it elsewhere at any time.
Will my email keep working?
Yes, as long as you only add the records above and don't remove existing ones. Email uses different records (MX), which this change doesn't touch.
Does my wagentapp.com address still work?
Yes — both addresses show the same site. Anything already printed or shared keeps working.
I don't have a domain yet — can you get one for me?
Tell Alice the name you'd like. Domain registration isn't self-serve yet, so our team will follow up with the price and handle it with you.
It's been hours and nothing happened
DNS changes can take up to 24–48 hours in the worst case, but that's rare. Double-check the record: type CNAME, name www, value exactly wagentapp.com (no https://, no trailing dot needed). On Cloudflare, make sure the cloud is grey. Still stuck? Message Alice — a human can take over.
